filmyQ Privacy Policy

filmyQ (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a party-games app for family and office groups. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Google account: When you sign in with Google, we receive your display name, email address, and profile photo URL from Google.
• Game data: Room names, game progress, room membership, and display names you use in rooms are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) so you and your group can play together.
• Device / usage: Firebase may collect basic technical logs (app version, crash data) to keep the service reliable.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and show your name in rooms
• Run games (Secret Santa, Raja Kaji Chor Sipahi, etc.) with people you invite
• Maintain your room list and match history
• Improve stability and fix bugs

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not use your data for third-party advertising
• We do not allow guest/anonymous play; Google sign-in is required

Sharing

Your display name and game activity are visible to other members of rooms you join. We use Google Firebase and Google Sign-In; their policies apply to authentication and hosting: Google Privacy Policy.

Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing lalit.tanwar.duckberg@gmail.com from the address linked to your Google account. Include “filmyQ account deletion” in the subject. We will delete your user profile, room memberships, and related game data within 30 days.

Data retention

Room and account data is kept while you use the app. If you do not request deletion, inactive data may be removed after extended periods of inactivity.

Children

filmyQ is intended for general audiences at family and office gatherings. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent.
